Using the double wishbone type suspension as a model, this paper introduces a method for calculating suspension/steering geometry using expressions derived directly from the kinematics of mechanism theory. The geometry calculation and the calculation of various suspension characteristics were performed with a calculating program created using MATLAB language, taking into consideration its application to the control system design.
